What's Personal Training like at The Wellness Studio?

At the Wellness Studio we offer you a well-rounded experience of fitness in your personal training sessions. Although we all have differing interests and areas of expertise we consider strength, cardiovascular, nutrition, stretching and periods of rest to be integral facets to the session. Our approach focuses on both the mind and body with exercises ranging from yoga and Pilates to kickboxing and plyometrics. We offer you a personal approach, attempt to fit you with the best trainer for your personality and scheduling needs, and are available to work with you where you feel most comfortable. We enjoy working with our clients in a variety of settings – gym, home, office, or outdoors. In our initial sessions, Wellness Studio trainers are focused on getting to know you and helping you to clarify and define your goals, expectations, and anticipated outcomes of the training. We will perform an initial fitness evaluation on you and will retest this every three months to chart your progress.

For example, some of our clients train privately with a trainer two to four times per week for half hour or hour sessions. Some of our clients get started with a trainer who designs a program for them and then they follow that on their own and/or take classes and just see their trainer once every one to two months to monitor progress and make updates to their program.

Then there are some clients who do a combination – they might see a trainer once per week to ensure a tough workout and to hold them accountable weekly and then the rest of the time they workout on their own.
