About Us Our Team

Rebecca Irons

Philosophy

Challenge the body, free the mind, embrace the spirit and go with the flow.

Life has its ebbs and flows; it is in constant motion. Change is inevitable and moves us forward. Everyday seems to hold a lesson and transformation no matter how insignificant it may seem. I believe the body, mind and spirit all need and thrive on change. We either embrace and accept it or dig our heels in and resist it if we feel we are not ready for it. My desired goal is to empower you and help you embrace whatever changes come about. It takes courage, effort, patience and commitment when it comes to making positive changes in your health and fitness. It can seem like a daunting task when you don’t know where to begin. Because many times it is not immediately evident, as we work together, I am confident that we can find what motivates you. I feel that cross training is key so I try to instill the importance of variety in my clients. I try to present the many different “faces” of fitness and encourage people to find a physical activity that they enjoy because they are more likely to continue to pursuit it. I also believe in setting realistic goals. It’s important to reward yourself after reaching a goal, but you should already have the next goal in mind to keep the momentum going. Fitness is a lifelong journey and you are in the driver’s seat. Where do you want to go?

Client Base

I enjoy working with people who are hardcore, preparing for an event or want to maintain and preserve what they have. I feel I am a good fit with just about anyone who has a genuine interest in being physically and mentally healthy. I am of the mindset that you can either “pay now or pay later”. Meaning you can either work hard to achieve good health now and enjoy your later years doing things you want to do OR you can ignore the importance of your health now and spend your retirement savings on things like prescriptions and devices to help you get around. I design customized training programs with lots of variety based on the goals clients want to achieve. I place emphasis on core strength and balance, increasing muscular strength and endurance, toning, and general fitness.
